Louise Tiranoff is a Documentary Film and Video Producer/Director/Cinematographer. Her company, Tiranoff Productions, LLC/GeneticaLens is developing a new communications tool for pediatric practitioners worldwide: Autism Spectrum Disorders Risk Alert (ASDRA™).

BioGraphy



Among Louise Tiranoff's television credits are City Kid/Country Kid for WCBS/TV in New York (nominated for an Emmy) and Peaceable Kingdom, a children's television show for Santa Fe Communications, as well as segments and specials for WBZ-TV/Group W, Boston and HBO. She photographed and directed 30 episodes of "A Woman Is... " a documentary series for NBC/WRC-TV, Washington, D.C. Her film “Artists of the Dance” was also shown on the Arts and Entertainment network (A & E) for two years. She was Director of Photography of a two-part documentary special: "Investigative Reports: Execution at Midnight" produced by James Thebaut for A & E. Ms.Tiranoff has written and directed original musical theater shows for children as part of The Celebration Series performed at Lincoln Center in New York featuring such artists as Gregory Hines, Wynton Marsalis, Antonia Franceschi of the New York City Ballet, and Itzhak Perlman. She is the founder/co-director of The Fearless Theater Company comprised of young people with and without disabilities.



Ms Tiranoff’s company -- Tiranoff Productions, LLC/GeneticaLens (www.geneticalens.com) visually maps rare and difficult to diagnose disorders to facilitate timely and effective discovery and appropriate treatment. GeneticaLens is developing a new communications tool: Autism Spectrum Disorders Risk Alert (ASDRA) that will enable pediatric practitioners worldwide to quickly identify the risk indicators of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Ms. Tiranoff is Principal Investigator for the project, which is funded by the National Institutes of Health NIH).



Ms. Tiranoff is a member of The Directors' Guild of America (DGA) and received her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2005. Her brother, Michael “Toes” Tiranoff, a video editor and a renown tap dancer, is the Associate Producer/Assistant Director of “Milt & Honi.”
