NAOMI TURE is a TV Producer and first-time documentary filmmaker in San Francisco, CA. Her wide-ranging background in the digital arts includes video & television production, educational technology, animation, installation and graphic design.

On her project Laughter in the Wind, Naomi is working with CHRIS FABER, a screenwriter and editor. Chris has written screenplays for Paramount, Dreamworks, MGM, HBO and Warner brothers. Samples of his editing – and writing – can be found at www.cvfaber.com

Two months into the recording of the documentary, ERICA MURRAY became Co-Producer. Her outreach efforts to register donors continues - and broadens - with this documentary.  

NICK DAVILA  joined the project in its beginning stages as volunteer Director of Photography. His previous films include Twilight of the Bluefin (2006) and Flying off Mountains (2005).

BioGraphy

NAOMI TURE is a TV Producer and first-time documentary filmmaker in San Francisco, CA. Her wide-ranging background in the digital arts includes video & television production, educational technology, animation, installation and graphic design.

Currently Senior Producer for KMVT Community Television, Naomi directs and produces professional videos for the station and teaches digital arts classes.  An independent digital artist as well, she employs documentary video, educational technology, animation and installation. Her various pieces include a documentary on leukemia, an online exhibit for the Exploratorium, and an animation of children's existential theories. She has presented her work at the Oral History Association, Harvard Community Design Symposium, FilmColumbia, NeXtfest and Galapagos art space.  She holds a degree in Education Studies from Brown University and a Masters in Electronic Art from RPI.
