Exec Producer/Director, Dafna Yachin
For over 15 years, Dafna has written, produced and directed award-winning television, film, and multimedia productions. Her documentaries and feature stories have aired on CBS, ABC and The Sci-Fi Channel (among others). She has been instrumental in creating lasting formats and formulas for series such as Discovery’s Travelers and Prevention Magazine’s BodySense hosted by Mike Rowe. Dafna has also co-written and directed more than 50 national and international film/HD spots and has managed crews in 18 countries. Her pride-in-industry awards include the Women In Broadcasting National Medal, the St. Francis Public Awareness Award and the New York Film Festival Gold for her documentary short “Vaclav Havel and the Power of the Pen.”

Dafna’s experience in educational programming helped to create the first Distance Learning Series for the nation’s original science museum, the Franklin Institute. And for the past decade she has been helping non-profits such as the Philadelphia Liberty Medal and the Gruber Foundation develop educational video libraries for Justice and Women’s Rights. Since establishing Lunchbox Communications in 2000, Dafna and her creative team have created dozens of successful cross-media campaigns. This year Dafna has been charged with creating cross-platform content opportunities for the new Programming Division of Lunchbox and is partnering with Lion TV to develop series for various Discovery Networks.

Producer, Tamela Knapp
With more than two decades in multimedia, marketing and broadcast, Tamela is an Emmy-winning producer, bringing a unique approach to the projects she helps develop. She is an adept storyteller, excelling in historical and biographical documentary format. Joining Lunchbox three years ago as a writer and producer, Tamela produced the 2006 Philadelphia Liberty Medal documentary honoring former Presidents George H.W. Bush and William Clinton, as well as the 2005 Liberty Medal documentary on Ukraine President Viktor Yushchenko. Her video work has aired on WCAU, WPVI, NBC, and CN8 and worldwide on the web. Tamela advanced quickly to lead a wide variety of national and international broadcast, multimedia and PR projects for Lunchbox.
