John Convey is a New York City based filmmaker/photographer. After spending 8 years in the commercial photography field in New York City, he realized that moving image would be a more correct fit to realize his creative potential. In 2006 he sold all of his possessions and moved to Mostar, Bosnia Herzegovina to self-produce a documentary film about the coping mechanisms that children used during the war to mentally preserve and to physically survive in times of extreme duress and hardship.
